We are not trying to make laundry complicated. We built Wash N' Fold Houston around one idea: make getting your laundry done easier, more predictable, and more personal.

What makes us different

• We keep track of small items

  Small things — socks especially — are surprisingly easy to lose in the wash. So we built a simple process to stop it happening.

  We count the small, easily misplaced items before your laundry goes in, and check them again once it is done. Of the laundry services we looked at, almost none do this. It is one of the ways we take extra care with your belongings instead of treating your laundry as just another load.

• Simple per-load pricing

  We charge by the load, so you are never working out a price from the exact weight of your laundry.

  A load, for pricing, is about one large trash bag. We are flexible about it — we will not charge you for a second load unless the laundry is comfortably over 20 lbs.

  On our weekly and every-2-weeks rates, a full 20-lb load works out to under $1 a pound. Against a service that charges by the pound, a flat fee per load saves you real money once you are washing a full load.

• Direct updates from your Laundry Rep

  You are told where your laundry is. You get text messages as it is picked up, while it is being washed, and when it is ready to come back.

  If you have a question, you can message your Laundry Rep directly rather than being stuck inside an app's chat window.

  Wash N' Fold Houston is locally owned, and it was started by University of Houston students.

  We are not a national corporation. We are a local business serving our own community, and we are personally involved in the service our customers get.

• Experienced Laundry Reps

  Your laundry is handled by a Laundry Rep who has worked in commercial laundry before.

  You are trusting us with your personal belongings. We take how they are handled and cared for seriously.

• Try your first order free

  We would rather you tried the service before committing to anything. Your first order is free, up to 40 lbs — pickup, washing, drying, folding and delivery included.

  We run other promotions through the year too, including discounts and free orders, so it is worth checking back.
